Today Trump wants to pass a big bill that will increase the national debt by more than 2 trillion dollars just to give tax breaks for the rich and to take money away from the poor. The Republican party has been doing this for quite some time but this bill is just so blatant that it is astonishing. To pay for the bill he plans to cut Medicaid health coverage for people currently on Medicaid. This will eliminate health coverage for more than 7 million people. Trump wants to eliminate food stamps for the most needy Americans. All this so Trump can give tax cuts for the richest of the rich. Molly Ivins said it best. “The rich do not need help; they are doing just fine.” Trump wants to eliminate Wheels on Wheels for elderly and shut in Americans and end Head Start which helps get children in disadvantage families a start for entering school. These are despicable actions. What can we do about it? Simple. Every Republican in the US House of Representatives voted for Trumps big beautiful bill will be up for reelection. Vote them out!!! This behavior is inexcusable and downright hateful. Vote them out. Contact your local board of elections and make sure you are registered and if you are not registered now. Take back our America.
