I wish I could say that Mike Carey U.S. Representative from Ohio’s 15 th district is an outlier but he is not. He is a typical Republican in the House of today. He is only interested in pleasing Trump and getting reelected. I am old enough to remember when Republicans were not like this. When Eisenhower ran for President, the Democrats wanted him to run as a Democrat–this shows how little difference there was between the two parties. Not any more. Carey voted for Trump’s big “bad” beautiful bill. He thinks nothing if giving tax breaks for the ultra rich while taking from the poor. If the bill passes it will bring devastating cuts to Medicaid and food stamps. When people are kicked off Medicaid they will go to emergency rooms for basic care which will increase costs for the average Americans. In the 15th district (Carey’s) there are over 220,000 people om Medicaid and 37% are children. Many veterans also rely on Medicaid. Over 40,000 veterans in Ohio rely on Medicaid and 17,000 are uninsured.

this is unnecessary suffering for those who are most vulnerable. Medicare is next; beware America. Vote these people out.
