Do you have a philosophy to live by? Mot of us don’t but we have been taught by family, school, church and others how to act and behave; rules to govern life but not really written drown.
Here is a philosophy:
Be brave, be honest, be kind and take the time to look around. Be brave enough to do the right thing even though it might not be popular ( think about US congressmen and senators who recently voted to cut Medicaid and SNAP food benefits; just to stay in the good races of Donald Trump).
Be honest; you never have to remember the lie you told (wouldn’t it be great if politicians were honest and truthful). If you are honest and tell the truth, people will respect you and know that they can depend on you.
Be kind. Real strength is in kindness (think about the thousands upon thousands of people starving and dying from disease in Africa when Musk ended USAID). Our Secretary of State, while in the US Senate. said USAID is one of the best thing we do and said we should put more $ into it. When Musk ended it Rubio did not defend it and even criticized it. Shame on you Marco! Where? is your courage; your integrity? No one can take your integrity from you. but you can give it away. I ask: “Secretary Rubio was the price of giving away your self-respect worth it?”
Take the time to look around. We rush through life and fail to enjoy the simple things have to offer. And before you know it you are old and missed out on so much. Consider the things our President and Republicans in the UIS House and Senate did and will do. Did we elect them to knock more than 10 million people (most are financially needy and many disabled) and cut food to the poor and children. I cannot believe the sent them to Washington DC to do despicable things like this. Weren’t they raised better than this? Herre is something for them and all of us. If your grandmom or mom would not approve of what you are going to do or say, maybe you should seriously reconsider it. Our government officials need slow down to look at our country and consider how their actions affect others. They should get out among everyday Americans and ask them what they think and need.
