For years we have had to take our shoes off for TSA checks after the shoe bomber’s attempt to blow up a plane.. Now Kristi Noem has decided we do not have to take our shoes off. I am willing to put up with this inconvenience for safety. Now she is considering to allow us to no longer limit our liquids we pack. This is even though we do not currently have the ability to safely check the liquids in our bags. This is during increased air travel.; not a time for changes. This decision will trade convenience for safety. I’ll choose safety over convenience. The airlines in Israel have never had a high jacking or bombing because they have intense safety protocols. Noem should keep things as they are. She has no experience with the needs for safety and has proven that she has no business of being in charge of Homeland Security. If you need to have your dog shot, call her but otherwise she should keep hands off interfering with TSA. And this doesn’t even address why phone calls to FEMA during the flash floods in Texas went unanswered. Just another tin foil hat administrator.
