If Trump appoints someone who is not qualified for a cabinet post, that person probably will not put millions of Americans’ lives in danger but not so with Robert F Kennedy Jr. He has fired the entire 17-member vaccine advisory panel, cancelled $500 million in research on mRNA vaccines including cancer research, and severely limiting access to Covid shots. Yes, Covis is still around. He has peddled misinformation about lifesaving vaccines, cited studies that do not exist, gutted medical research, and replaced federal experts with unqualified lackeys. He has even expressed doubt about germ theory of disease. He is even considering yanking mRNA Covid vaccines off the market and people may need a prescription to get it. This person is deranged and Trump should demand his resignation; but wait isn’t this the same president that suggested that drinking bleach could be used to kill Covid (as well as the patient), but hey there is always those pesky side effects!
