Bill which knocked millions of our most needy citizens off Me3dicaid and SNAP. Phony AI-generated videos of SNAP recipients using their food stamps to buy steaks and other luxury items is bogus. Two-thirds of SNAP recipients are over 60, children or teens, or are people with disabilities .The vast majority of the other recipients are working but their
earnings are so low that they qualify for SNAP. More recipients are white so when one Trump ally said that they should “get off their fat ghetto asses”, the characterization is not true. Finally, the average food stamp benefit is $6 per day. Could you live like a queen on that?
Category 5 Hurricanes:
With global warming/climate change, the oceans are getting warmer and provide for stronger and more devastating hurricanes. Hurricane Melissa devastated Jamaica wit winds of 185 mph. Storms like this will be more common and Florida is not out of danger. If a Category 5 storm hit downtown Miami the cost would do 500 million dollars damage and cost a lot of lives. What does Trumpd do? He says climate change is a hoax. He really doesn’t care. He is 79 years old and considering his health he will be lucky to live another 10 years–as long as he can make a lot of money for himself and his rich friends– he does not care bout what will happen to our country and the world. We need to reduce our dependence on oil anfd gas and increase solar and hydroelectric power and new nuclear plants. China is going forward with electric cars while Trump is eliminating incentives to buy electric vehicles. At every turn Trump weakens our country and remember he has 3 more years as president. What shape will we be in then. Putin and Xi are enjoying what can become our demise.
Zero migration;
Trump is planning to deport thousands of Somali immigrants. We will have fewer workers to pay for retired Americans benefits and lower economic growth. Who will fill low paying labor intensive jobs like harvesting vegetables and fruit in back-breaking jobs? Who will work in chicken processing plants? With les immigration, our population will decline and will have fewer people paying into Social Security and Medicare and these benefits will run out of money, and then, American Citizens will feelm serious pain!
