A megalomaniacal leader demands total fealty from not only the citizens of the country he leads, but from all the subordinate levels of government be neath him. Anyone who doesn’t comply stands to have their lives ruined. The people live in frustration and fear while the president grifts his way to riches. He plasters his name and likeness on everything. The nation is captive to his egomaniacal whims. Everyone including the media, knuckles under.

Who do you think this is? I vbet you think Donald Trump. Well, you are wrong; it is Saddam Hussein: This should give you pause but it should not. Trump said he would be a dictator on day one and that is just what he is doing and this only after one year of his presidency. What will our country and our democracy be like when his term is up?
